+ Something Beautiful Midwifery - Mercedes Snyder (she/her), LM is a Black mother of six and a licensed midwife serving Pierce and King Counties in Washington State. Mercedes attends home births and birth center births. She is an in-network provider for Amerigroup, Molina, Cigna, Regence/BCBS, Premera, Coordinated Care, CHPW, First Choice Health, and Kaiser. She is also a preceptor, teaching future generations of midwives.
I have attended multiple home births with Mercedes. Mercedes is also my personal midwife and someone I deeply trust.
+ Wellspring Midwifery - Elliott Leslie (she/her), LM, CPM and Lizz Fay (they/she), LM, CPM are white, queer and queer-affirming licensed midwives serving South King County in Washington State. They are in-network providers for Aetna, Wellpoint (formerly Amerigroup), Ambetter, Apple Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Community Health Plan of Washington, Coordinated Care, First Choice Health, HMA, Lifewise, Molina, Premera, Regence BlueShield, and United Healthcare (private only, not Community Plan). They are both graduates of Bastyr.
